Constructive Timber Online Learning is a custom-built eLearning course commissioned by BSW Timber. The course has been designed specifically with the needs of timber specialists and builders merchants staff in mind.
The content is written by an independent trainer with 30 years of timber trade experience and is delivered through a blend of text, pictures, illustrations, interactive graphics, and activities. Users can also make use of a glossary of terms, and ask the expert options. Trainees complete a test at the end of each section and upon successful completion they receive a certificate to add to their CV.
The eLearning course also features a secure Admin Area to allow BSW Timber to monitor learner progress and performance. Companies can also access a reporting screen with information on the progress of individuals within their organisation.
The course is developed in Flash and is managed by a PHP and MySQL content management system.
